In this hunter-focused role, you will engage with C-level executives to architect and close complex $1M+ enterprise solutions that protect critical federal infrastructure.

Job Description
We are seeking an enterprise-level Federal Civilian Account Manager to join our dedicated Federal team. In this high-impact, hunter-focused role, you will engage directly with U.S. Civilian Agencies to deliver industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for securing critical infrastructure, expanding our footprint within existing agencies, and aggressively driving net-new revenue.

About the Job

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed assigned revenue quotas by expanding Trellix's footprint within existing accounts and aggressively hunting for net-new business opportunities.
  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively cultivate a robust, sustainable sales pipeline equal to or greater than 3x your assigned quota.
  • Executive Engagement: Initiate, build, and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with senior Federal Civilian executives, including C-Level leadership.
  • Deal Architecture: Lead and close complex enterprise software, hardware, and professional services contracts valued at $1M+.
  • Accurate Forecasting: Maintain rigorous sales hygiene with precise weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting across Commit, Upside, and Pipeline categories.
  • Strategic Solution Selling: Analyze agency-specific missions, directives, and pain points to competitively position Trellix’s comprehensive security portfolio.
  • Channel Ecosystem Leverage: Partner closely with federal channel partners, system integrators, and internal cross-functional teams to accelerate the sales cycle and maximize revenue.

About You

  • Location: Must be located in or near the Tyson's Corner, VA area.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success selling enterprise software, hardware, or cybersecurity services directly into the U.S. Federal Civilian market.
  • Track Record: A documented history of consistent quota attainment and territory growth.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to engage with clients and partners.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional communication skills, a relentless "hunter" mentality, and a highly collaborative team-player approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud-delivered (SaaS) and on-premise cybersecurity architectures, XDR, and federal compliance standards.
  • Established Network: An active, existing network of contacts and decision-makers within major Federal Civilian agencies.
  • Channel Mastery: Sophisticated understanding of the federal procurement process, contract vehicles, and the federal channel partner ecosystem.

This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $130,000 – $165,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $170,000 – $310,000. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
