Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sr. Software Engineer to join our growing organization. Our global organization works in the areas of malware research, customer escalation response and system Engineering and development. You will bring your sr. level software engineering skills to add new features and functionality to our award winning cybersecurity tools. Additionally, you will help build platforms and automations, and author detection content which will help “fight the bad guys.”

Role Overview:

• 6 to 10 years of experience development in Cloud environments – AWS, GCP advantage
• Analysis of software requirements and development of modules
• Evaluate technology stack best suited to implement a set of requirements
• Lead code reviews- guiding others to improve code/software quality
• Lead brainstorming sessions into existing and proposed solutions and designs with team
• Ensure the team follows best practices for software development
• Work closely with team members located across different geographies.

About You: 

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute
• 6-10 years of relevant work experience in design and development of quality software
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies.
• Experience in building distributed and scalable backend solutions.
• Experience in languages including C#, Java, Python, Groovy, Grails
• Experience in working with RDBMS ideally MySQL.
• Experience with development of containerized, micro-service architecture systems in an AWS or GCP environment using Docker, and any of Kubernetes flavours – EKS, GKE advantage.
• Experience working with Brokers and cache servers such as Kafka/Rabbit MQ, Redis/Aerospike, etc..
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
