What’s it like to be a Trellix intern? Keep reading…

For me the internship seemed like a great opportunity to learn while making an impact.

I was kind of going into it blind. I had never done UX research before and I didn't have that much experience doing qualitative research plus I knew nothing about cybersecurity. It was an amazing experience. The whole team made me feel welcome. They have been incredible and are so patient and willing to answer questions and fill in the gaps of knowledge that I have. So many people, even top executives, were open to having a 30-minute meeting or conversation. Having the ability to talk to them really helped me.

This being my first ever internship I thought people were going to expect too much of me.

I was afraid that my minimal tech experience would be ignored and I would be expected to understand platforms I had never used or possibly even heard of. The team was extremely responsive to my questions. I never felt as though I had asked something dumb or unnecessary, in fact they took the time to let me know I was doing a great job! (Praise always feels good:) Trellix showed me the type of dynamic I'm looking for in future jobs. I loved my manager, not just the way she ran the team, but also how she treated myself and others.
