Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of Microsoft Windows Images. You will be responsible for performing system level troubleshooting, analyze file/malware execution across different version of Windows. You should be able to validate the internal components of the Windows operating system, as well as assess its overall performance. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in Python & Shell scripting, exposure to automation framework & virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox) would be added advantage.
About Role:
- Proven experience Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
- Good knowledge of JIRA tools.
- Proven experience with test automation or knowledge of django framework.
- Experience in configuring environments and resolving system-level issues that arise during testing.
- Good knowledge of Windows Internals (Registry, Services, and Sysinternals Tools).
- Work closely with Developers to write detailed test plans including test cases covering end to end scenarios.
- Experience in Malware Analysis & File behavior monitoring will be an added advantage.
- Experience in use of REST APIs for testing will be desired.
About You:
- We are seeking for Senior QA engineer with 3-5 years experience.
- Experience in performing load and malware detection test across various versions of Windows.
- Exposure to automation tools & scripting languages like Python to automate test cases/scenarios as per requirement.
- Experience in working with virtualized environments like KVM/qemu, VMware, Hyper-V, or VirtualBox and ability to create/manage/configure virtualized setups as and when needed.
- Experience in using windows debugging tools like Windbg to capture memory dumps and other artifacts useful for debugging.
- Good knowledge of linux/unix commands.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
