Role Overview:

In Staff QA engineer role, the person will own complete quality, validation and delivery of security solutions.

About the role:

  • Work directly with senior management, peers and architects to develop practices which lead to the highest quality products and drive transformation change.
  • The individual should have experience in the definition, design, implementation, development of products in the cloud and onprem technologies.
  • Act as a technical mentor for the team regarding security, performance, deployment, troubleshooting, and effective testing of the full interaction the Cloud with our platform.
  • Deliver product releases that meet the timeline, quality and costs for the projects and deliverable elements.
  • Do test planning, Test Case authoring, Test Coverage for various product/releases.
  • Perform functional validation of solutions, features and bug-fixes.
  • Share detailed reports for work accomplished, details of feature implemented, validation done, etc., and present to all stakeholders.

About you:

  • The ideal candidate shall have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of related software engineering experience with at least 5+ years in testing and automation.
  • Experience in Java, Python for development of backend automation systems.
  • Working knowledge of test management tools and quality process.
  • Good at problem solving and scripting.
  • Knowledge in C++ coding and debugging skills.
  • Good knowledge of operating system fundamentals.
  • Cloud Stack in any one of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP are preferred. 
  • Preferably having experience in the Security domain.
  • Experience with technology infrastructure, storage, and virtualization.
  • Ability to listen, adopt and influence are essentials.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams across different time-zones.
  • Strong communication skills.
