Role Overview:
Trellix is seeking a Majors Account Executive in the New York City area to join our team.
As a Majors Account Executive, your primary mission is to aggressively expand Trellix’s footprint within the Fortune 500. This is a high-impact hunting role designed for a sales professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities, disrupting the status quo, and winning complex security deals in a competitive landscape.

New Business Acquisition: Relentlessly pursue and close new business within a defined territory of major accounts, displacing legacy solutions with Trellix’s industry-leading security portfolio.

Strategic Prospecting: Build and execute a sophisticated "land and expand" strategy, utilizing territory planning to create a massive, high-velocity sales pipeline.

Executive Influence: Partner with Regional and Global sales leaders to navigate the C-Suite of Fortune 500 companies, positioning Trellix as the essential partner for modern cyber defense.

Revenue Maximization: Take full ownership of the sales cycle—from initial cold outreach and discovery to expert-level demonstrations and final negotiation—to maximize territory revenue.

Your success is measured by your ability to penetrate new accounts and aggressively capture market share. You are the tip of the spear for Trellix’s expansion.

Quota Crusher: Consistently exceed assigned revenue targets through a relentless focus on new business acquisition.

Pipeline Architect: Build a massive, high-velocity sales funnel by identifying and qualifying "greenfield" opportunities within the Fortune 500.

Competitive Displacement: Lead the charge in unseating legacy incumbents by demonstrating the superior value of the Trellix security portfolio.

C-Suite Closer: Partner with Sales Engineering to navigate and close complex, multi-million dollar security deals at the CXO level.

Strategic Warfare: Work with sales leadership to develop "battle plans" for high-value target accounts, ensuring a dominant market position.

Technical Authority: Command the room during high-stakes product demonstrations, pilot implementations, and beta programs to prove Trellix’s technical superiority.

Full-Spectrum Selling: Drive the complete sales cycle for both software and professional services, from the first cold touch to the final signature.
About You:
We are looking for a high-performing closer who thrives on the chase and possesses the "killer instinct" needed to win in a crowded market.

Proven Closer: You have a 10+ year track record of smashing quotas and winning large-scale enterprise deals in the cybersecurity or cloud space.

Industry Insider: You bring a "Rolodex" of established C-level relationships and deep-seated contacts within the region's largest organizations.

Security Savant: You possess deep knowledge of networking topologies and the modern threat landscape, allowing you to speak as a peer to CISOs.

Virtual Navigator: You are a master of the "remote hunt," successfully identifying and closing six-figure deals in both virtual and face-to-face environments.

Solution Architect: You excel at "land and expand" strategies—winning the initial foothold and then rapidly scaling Trellix’s presence across the enterprise.

Resilient & Resourceful: You thrive in a multi-tiered, fast-paced sales organization and know how to marshal internal resources to push a deal across the finish line.
This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $150,000 – $175,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $300,000 – $350,000. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
