Role Overview:

As a Territory Account Manager at Trellix, you will play a critical role in driving sales and expanding our market presence within key accounts & assigned territories. You will be responsible for developing and executing territory plans, building strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and positioning Trellix’s cybersecurity solutions to address their unique needs and challenges.  A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining meticulous Salesforce hygiene, business forecasting & adhering to the MEDDPICC sales methodology.

About Role

• Drive Sales Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories, while also expanding existing relationships to increase revenue and market share.
• Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and security professionals.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive territory plan that align with Trellix's overall sales strategy and the customer's business objectives.
• Solution and Value Selling: Understand customer needs and challenges, and effectively position Trellix's cybersecurity solutions to address their specific requirements. This includes quantifying the value and ROI of our solutions, demonstrating how they solve business problems, reduce risks, and contribute to the customer's overall success.  This involves clearly articulating the business value proposition and tailoring it to each stakeholder's priorities.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.  This includes diligently following the MEDDPICC sales process.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including renewals, sales engineering, channel, marketing, and customer success, to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
• Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Salesforce Hygiene:  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including account information, contact details, sales activities, and deal progress.  This includes timely data entry, regular updates, and ensuring data quality.

About You
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8+ years of proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
• Strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Results-oriented and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience in value selling methodologies and demonstrating ROI.
• Knowledge of Trellix's products and services.
