Role Overview:
As an Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be part of the QA team responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our TACC product suite across On-Prem and SaaS platforms. This is an entry-level role suited for candidates passionate about testing, automation, and building high-quality software.
We are looking for a motivated Associate SDET to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software testing and automation, along with foundational programming knowledge. This role offers a great opportunity to work with senior engineers, learn industry best practices, and contribute to real-world QA automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Work with QA and Development teams to understand product features and testing needs.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Assist in manual testing as needed to support release validation.

Collaborate on writing and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test data.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.

Document defects and ensure proper tracking and closure.
About You:

1–3 years of experience in QA automation or software development Engineer in Test.

Proficiency in a programming language (Python, Playwrite, Core Java).

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and Agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Experience in the security domain will be an added advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
