Role Overview:
In this position, you will be part of the Endpoint Technical Support team.
Daily we work with some of our most valuable customers, assisting them in the use of Trellix endpoint products and services to the highest levels. The role consists of both reactive issue resolution and pro-active communication.
• We work with our customers to help them protect their organisations against cyber-attacks.
• We provide security advice and recommendations in advance as well as assistance when their networks come under attack.
• We deal with large customers assisting with products such as Endpoint Security and EDR.
• We are a team of experienced specialists in helping our customers protect their most valuable assets using our leading-edge technology.
About the role:
The Technical Support Engineer role consists of the following:
- Provide security advice and recommendations
- Providing technical support to Trellix Enterprise Customers, managing technical issues to resolution, maintaining proactive communication at all times
- Working on service requests, as well as internal improvement projects
- Identify and share opportunities for training
- Collaborate with internal global teams to identify and implement beneficial opportunities.
- Liaising with with the products development teams
- Taking ownership of technical issues until a resolution is provided.
- Participation in Technical Forums.
About you:
- Customer focused.
- Fluent English – verbal and written. with French too
- Able to quickly learn about new products and technologies.
- Able to assess and understand the impact, severity and urgency of issues.
- A friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
- Capable of working unsupervised by prioritizing work and focusing on meeting agreed objectives in a required time-frame.
- Able to integrate quickly with existing team
- Team player, contributing to achieve team goals
- Excellent methodical problem-solver.
- Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Windows.
- Experience working in a Technical support environment.
Advantageous:
- IT Security related certifications.
Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field.
