Role Overview:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Protection
Group in India, developing cross-platform endpoint applications for Windows and Linux. To
be successful in this role you should have exceptional technical skills, communication, and
project management skills with multiple years of designing and implementing Enterprise
class products along with ability to work in a team toward achieving organizational goals.

Role Overview:

In this position, you will make sure if the product is being built under all security

requirements. Responsible for the security framework that makes sure the security threats are being identified and being addressed in time. Security by design.

Ideal candidate will foster a culture of innovation while displaying exemplary technical expertise, ownership, and commitment to delivering high quality endpoint security solutions on a variety of desktops. For you to be successful in this role, you need excellent debugging and development skills in C/C++, understanding of Windows and Linux internals and experience in building lean agents.

About the Role:

• Be part of in C++ software development and troubleshooting activities

• Secure by design

• Conduct Thread Modeling and analyze security risks

• Define security requirements of the product

• Security review and testing

• Vulnerability management, like running vulnerability scans, triaging the issues and fixing the issues

• Documenting the security policies, standards and guidelines

• Building, validating and maintaining SBOM

• Stay informed about the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and identifying mitigation strategies for the same

About You:

• The ideal candidate will have 7 to 9 years of experience in Software development and security technologies.

• Experience in C++ Development

• Experience in product security including secure coding best practices and vulnerability management.

• Strong knowledge of application security and cloud security.

• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks like OWASP.

• Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.

• Tools and Process – SDL, Executive Orders, SBOM, Protex, Balckduck, Certifications on Security and Ethical Hacking, Compliance related process.
