Senior Manager Product Intelligence – Testing Services
Role Overview:
-The is a subject matter expert responsible for one or more of the Trellix product testing practices such as Endpoint Protection, EDR, NDR, DLP, XDR, etc. The is responsible for the entire test practice lifecycle. This includes co-authorship of methodologies, testing concept outline, construction and validation of test harness, planning and leading testing engagements.
General Description:

Maintain technical knowledge of the threat environment, cybercrime and various industry solutions

Collaborate with development & research teams to develop and drive testing ideas and priorities
-
Ability to engage and collaborate with clients during on site testing projects and group tests
-
Execute accurate and repeatable real-world tests of leading cybersecurity products across various research categories using leading-edge testing tools to measure security, performance and other product attributes

Self-starter, high level of initiative, experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Collaborate with other Security Products Testing Engineers within the organization, train & communicate complex methodologies and test concepts/harnesses
Requirements:
-
5 years of management experience including people, missions and or business process in the security industry or a lab environment
-
3 years minimum hands-on security applications, including, but not limited to firewall, endpoint security and management, network security management; vulnerability assessment/patch management

Plan, configure, install, upgrade, maintain and troubleshoot complex environments at all layers of OSI model
-
Develop new testing methodologies, standards and test procedures as required, based on client requirements and/or business needs

Create analytical research reports based on detailed methodologies and empirical testing, translating complex technical problems and findings into executive-facing business risk analysis and recommendations

Communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audience.

Solid understanding of network protocols, applications, routing and switching
-
Thorough understanding of and ability to manage network devices and common security products

Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior executives (internal and external)

Penetration testing experience, signature writing and exploit development or some combination
-
Strong documentation skills and a drive to improve efficiencies and knowledge transfer
Technical Skills:
-
Detailed knowledge of common testing tools such as BreakingPoint, Spirent, Ixia, Metasploit, Backtrack, Wireshark, etc., including the ability to design and implement custom test scripts (BreakingPoint, Spirent)

Logic or programmatic experience (language coding, Unix scripting, operational requirements, etc.)

Diagnose performance bottlenecks in networked devices.

In-depth knowledge of switching, routing, TCP/IP, and security at all levels of OSI model.

Develop environment build out and automate testing processes and reporting of results.

Ability to analyze packet details in tools like Wireshark.

Actual experience writing scripts/code, including, not limited to: TCL, Perl, Ruby, C#, BASH & Powershell.

Proficient in Linux and Windows environments.
Base Pay Range: $120 ,500 – $224,000 . Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include annual bonuses and long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
