Sales Engineer – Channels

Role Overview:

Trellix is searching for a Software Sales Engineer – Channels to join our APAC SE team based in Malaysia.

As a Channel SE of Trellix, you will play a crucial role in supporting our channel partners and ensuring their success. Your primary focus will be on enabling our partners, managing the channel presales community, and supporting channel-led opportunities

About the Role: 

Channel Enablement:

  • Collaborate with our channel partners to understand their technical needs and requirements.

  • Provide training, resources, and technical support to empower partners in effectively positioning our cybersecurity solutions.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and workshops to enhance partner knowledge and confidence.

Channel Presales Community Management:

  • Foster strong relationships with channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and system integrators.

  • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing partner queries, technical challenges, and solution architecture discussions.

  • Organize regular partner meetings, webinars, and events to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Support Channel-Led Opportunities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify channel-led sales opportunities.

  • Assist partners in crafting compelling proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.

  • Participate in joint customer meetings alongside partners to present technical solutions and address customer concerns.

About you:

  • 6+ Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISA are highly desirable.

  • Experience in presales engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical roles.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to build rapport with partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Technical proficiency in cybersecurity solutions, network architecture, and cloud technologies.
