Role Overview:
We are looking to bring a driven HR Partner onboard our team to lead end-to-end people activities for the Latin American region. In this role, you’ll be both hands on, willing to get into the details while also driving regional strategy in partnership with global HR and HR COE leads. You will directly engage and support business leaders, driving the people agenda alongside their functional strategy. You will also manage localized engagement with our employees in region, ensuring all people-related queries are resolved timely.
About the Role:
The Latin America HR Business Partner will drive provide strategic guidance while ensuring consistency and effectiveness in employee relations issues, local compensation planning, performance management, key HR disciplinary processes, employee benefits and talent acquisition. This Latam HR Business Partner will be a key leader in driving forward a regional talent strategy, including both employee development, employee engagement, and retention.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the regional performance management and succession planning annual review process. Provide strategic advice on performance management and career development to key program stakeholders to strengthen the links between individual performance and delivery of strategic priorities.
- Ensure quality new hire orientations and on-boarding practices across the region that help integrate new hires successfully into our company, adapting global materials for a localized approach.
- Analyze regional trends and metrics in partnership with the Global Analytics COE to develop solutions, programs and policies alongside your business leaders.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as necessary.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of country legal requirements related to management of employees, resolving any queries in a timely manner to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure policies and procedures are developed in compliance with local laws, while continuously monitoring and updating as necessary. Lead and enact mitigation plans if required.
- Ensure transparent and legally compliant full-cycle recruitment process is in place for the region in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team
- Lean in as necessary with finance and accounting to ensure invoices are processed and paid in a timely fashion
You have:
- A solid working knowledge of and experience in local labor, employment laws and legal resources
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion; you are culturally astute.
- A proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Spanish, including the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural global environment
- A high degree of attention to detail and organization.
- A bias for action – you’re able to support and respond quickly to enable consistent project service delivery while multi-tasking across priorities.
- The demonstrated ability to work well independently under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience using Workday HRIS
- Prior experience building and implementing local benefit programs
- Experience working with accounting and/or finance and processing invoices
- Experience working in a global organization
