Role Overview:

This role is for a team that is working on creating cloud-based security solutions. The role involves developing scalable, extensible and high-quality software for our enterprise cloud security solutions.
Responsible for owning cloud detection services. You will work closely with Software Architects, Data Engineers, Security Researchers, and other domain experts, to design the next generation of detection solutions to help protect our customers.

About the Role:

• Actively lead, develop, mentor, and manage engineers on a product team, delivering security solution
• Ensure team charter is clearly defined and team executes to highest standards
• Proactively identify areas of risk in project deliverables and platform architecture, work with product management and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop new and improve on existing features
• Create a positive culture of quality and accountability while challenging the status quo and bringing new ideas to light.
• Critical analysis of issues to provide continuous improvement of technology, process and productivity
• Documenting business requirements and coming up with the technical solutions
• Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability & scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product
• Active participation in our ongoing process enhancements and software development practices 

About You:

• Experience leading a software development team in delivering enterprise products
• Excellent problem solving, design and programming skills; must have the ability lead the team technically.
• Ability to organize and prioritize complex tasks and projects.
• Expertise, with professional experience, in at least one programming language – Python/Java/Scala/R
• Experience with Cloud-based Data Engineering Platforms – at least one belonging to AWS / Azure / GCP
• 10+ years of coding experience in an Enterprise product environment
• Software Security experience highly desired
• Experience in Cloud development and deployment a PLUS.
• Understanding of version control systems such as git and/or subversion
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively work in a cooperative, distributed team environment
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
