Role Overview:

Endpoint Security Apprentice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of endpoint security solutions to protect against malware, ransomware, and other cyber threats.
  • Monitor and analyze security events and incidents on endpoints to identify potential vulnerabilities and security breaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated into systems and processes.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and patch management activities to mitigate security risks.
  • Assist in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents on endpoints.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and trends in endpoint security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and concepts.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security technologies, such as antivirus software, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and endpoint protection platforms (EPP).
  • Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
