Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to establish and maintain best in class Trellix Credit, Collections, and A/R operations and to maintain the health and integrity of the WW accounts receivable portfolio.
The Collections Manager position oversees managing a team of Collection Specialists located in Bengaluru, India. He/she will also be responsible for control and compliance of his/her group and will drive for system efficiency and process improvement. This manager will maintain productive working relationships with key business partners and ensure that the organization effectively partners at all levels.

About the role:
Collections Management

Drive the cash collections of receivables for the portfolio of accounts within targets established by Management.

Guide team to work to improve customers’ payment behavior and resolve collection issues.

Foster continuous improvement through performance benchmarking.
Team Management

Manages a group of Collection Specialists.

Manages and develops a team of Collection specialists with the goal of growing team’s capability.

Set proper management tone to keep the group motivated and challenged.
Drive Process Efficiency for Portfolio Accounts

Drive efficiency projects to better manage account receivables and collection, and improve our order to cash process, resulting in improved payment cycles and the best cost resource model.

Develop business relationships with key business groups (Order ops, Sales and Sales support, Finance, Tax, Accounting, and other members of Trellix Credit) to influence business processes to improve our order-to-cash cycle and facilitate issue resolution with the goal of zero delinquency and improved payment performance.

Meet with key customers to develop relationships and to enable collaboration on more efficient processes/better compliance to Trellix’s payment terms.
Control and Compliance

Drive compliance and control activities to keep Trellix legal by embedding operational controls (segregation of duties, etc.).

Ensure timely and accurate valuation, approval, and reporting of AR, ADA reserves & bad debt write offs.
About you:

Degree preferably in Business or Finance related, with a minimum of five years’ experience in Finance, spanning a range of business units (Accounting, Ops Finance, Corporate Finance and/or Risk & Control areas.

Good process skills to drive efficiencies: Business Partnership skills, ability to manage and prioritize high volume operations and global teamwork experience.

Experience dealing with customers and practices: Customer orientation and good problem-solving skills.

Experience with SAP required; Ability to quickly adapt to using other online and system tools is an advantage; Strong MS Excel skills are critical for this position.
