Role Overview:

Trellix is hiring a Channel Solutions Engineer to support our North American Enterprise business. This Channel SE will work with channel account managers within the Enterprise business as a technical sales expert.

The Channel Solutions Engineer is responsible for working with our Channel Enterprise business and engaging with prospective customers to understand their cybersecurity needs, crafting tailored solutions, and presenting product demonstrations to showcase how Trellix's offerings address those needs.

About the Role:
 

Reporting to the VP, Solutions Engineering, the Channel Solutions Engineer will understand and have In-depth knowledge of Security, Cloud Architectures and on-premise hub and spoke infrastructures. The SE will understand the challenges our customers are facing in today's work and the transformation going on in the security industry.

Additionally, you would have worked within a channel environment and are familiar with large strategic partners. You are comfortable understanding business drivers and outcomes, as well as the technical capabilities required for this role. You are comfortable presenting to the C-Suite.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales conference calls with Teams, providing product information and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Trellix 's solutions can provide value to them.

  • Can present "XDR Solutions" and how this addresses the customers' needs and outcomes.

  • Provide technical expertise on customer product and solution demonstrations.

  • Contribute in the writing of solution proposals and ensure it meets or exceed the customer's requirements and fit for the intended purpose.

  • Contribute to the a technical or solution response to RFIs/RFPs

  • Build and participate in pipeline activities

  • Retain a competent level of knowledge and technical hands-on experience across Trellix products, solutions and sales proposition.

  • Stay informed about security trends and industry analysts reports and information

  • Share best practices, providing feedback to product management and support the go to market programs of the company.

  • Remote planning and complete customer product pilots

  • Collaborates closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth.

About You:

  • You have a least 5+ years of security experience with deep knowledge in end-to-end security solutions including XDR

  • You are able to conduct customer presentations

  • You are experienced in supporting customer beta activities and early adopter programs

  • You know how to provide technical escalation management within accounts

  • You are adept at using Salesforce

  • You complete activities on time and to the desired outcomes

  • You work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches and build pipeline

  • You ensure successful product evaluations.

This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $130,000 – $180,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $200,000 – $240,000. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
