Software Architect

Role Overview:

-Design and Develop the architectural components and user stories by collaborating within and across functional engineering groups to enhance the ePO platform capabilities and deliver end to end solutions for our customers.

Research and stay up to date on various cutting edge enterprise scale cloud technologies and be able to choose appropriate ones based on evaluation and rapid prototype development

Develop and implement Ux framework and workflows in the ePO management console for the Intel Security solutions Drive continuous integration by development and automated execution of unit and system validation tests using tools such as Team City, Jenkins

Conduct code inspections, peer code reviews, and testing to find and resolve defects prior to code check-in

Review and resolve issues found by internal and external code analysis tools such as API violations, Fortify, Coverity

Debug and promptly resolve Cloud production or field customer escalation issues in the ePO platform

Work in fast paced agile scrum team and take/influence decisions, and drive open technical topics to a closure to achieve the goals set and agreed upon by the team.

Continually improve and mature our engineering software development processes sprint over sprint and release over release Provide technical mentoring to other engineering team members and help build a talented world class engineering group.

Software architect is responsible for the technical direction of a project. Makes high level design choices for the software structure, frameworks, protocols, and algorithms. Determines coding practices, development tools, and validation requirements. Performs pathfinding and surveys technologies. Interacts with multiple technologists in the company and within the industry as well as between developers and project managers to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
