Celebrate YOU.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.

The opportunity is bigger than you might imagine.

The fact is, every company tells every employee that their culture is inclusive. But how many companies invite you to create Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging programs and groups from scratch? That’s the Trellix difference. When we launched our new company, we listened to our people and left most legacy programs and policies behind.

How will our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging efforts evolve? Your thinking will play a key role in everything we do.

Our commitment is second to none.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging is a way of life at Trellix. If you can dream it, there’s a good chance we can make it a reality. At Trellix, you can shape our future. You can challenge convention. You can rewrite the rules. You can build a culture as unique as you are. Inclusive? It’s not just a promise, it’s an everyday reality.

Our people spoke, we listened.

We asked a simple question, “What is the best way to grow the cybersecurity talent pool?” The answer? By engaging with and investing in great people and reaching out to diverse groups of professionals. Here are the ways we’re making this happen…

HACE-Transparent-1

We’ve partnered with the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) to launch a comprehensive mentorship and education program called the HACE-Trellix Cybersecurity Accelerator. Through this partnership, HACE will source candidates from its network of 97,000 members and provide leadership skills training and a look into the cybersecurity industry with Trellix leadership teammates. Participants who successfully complete the program, with necessary skills & qualifications, will have the opportunity to engage with the Talent Acquisition Team to explore opportunities for full time roles at Trellix.

Gotara is a global career growth platform created specifically for women in STEM+. They facilitate a safe space for women to grow and is personalized, confidential, and immediately applicable to daily work. Their programs are turnkey and offer exceptional support.

Through our partnership, women at Trellix now have access to Gotara’s machine learning-driven career development platform to grow skills, accelerate careers, and foster the next-generation of leaders in cybersecurity.

NCA

We’ve joined the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Career Program in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Alliance. Launched with top HBCUs – including Prairie View A&M, Southern University, St. Philip’s College, Texas Southern University, and organizations including CISA and Dell – the HBCU Career Program will equip students with the necessary skills to navigate the search process for positions in cybersecurity, privacy, and risk, helping build a pipeline of Black professionals to fill the cyber workforce gap.

MentraText

We’ve partnered with Mentra - the employment network for Neurodivergent Professionals. Did you know that over 1 billion people are Neurodivergent - ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Epilepsy, Parkinsons, Tourette's and more? While 80% of neurodivergents are under/ unemployed, when placed in the right environments they are 30% more productive. By working with Mentra, we're going to help close the disability divide! At Trellix, we recognize that diversity of thought plays a critical role in our success and we're welcoming of individuals from unique walks of life with open arms! Mentra is on a mission to build a Neuroinclusive world and we're honored to be a part of it.

Trellix is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities. Applicants with disabilities who require reasonable accommodations for any part of the application or hiring process may contact us at Accomodations@trellix.com. Please be sure to include your name, preferred method of contact, and a description of your requested accommodation.

According to the Aspen Digital Tech Policy hub’s latest report, women make up 51% of the population but only 24% of the cybersecurity workforce. We’re working to change those numbers for the better.

We’ve created Employee Resource Groups with more in the works!

As it is with just about everything we do, our Employee Resource Groups are driven by our employees. Each group will feature Executive Champions, Leadership Boards, events and offerings including community activation and outreach, volunteerism, cultural awareness and education, and community and connection building.

Our ERG Objectives

Assist in driving Trellix initiatives that maximize the networking and development of employees through mentoring, coaching, learning and promoting.

Support Trellix efforts to attract, develop and retain top talent through excellence in employee experience, recruitment practices, onboarding, skill development, mentorship, retention methodologies, and community engagement.

Promote leadership, professional and personal development at all levels in the organization to raise exposure and create forums for collaboration.

Build an internal support system to encourage belonging, reduce isolation, create connections, and address issues and concerns across groups.

Create and sustain a diverse and inclusive hybrid working environment in support of our employees and in service to our local communities.

Something beautiful begins to grow when people, united behind a common cause or background, come together.

With that thought in mind, each of the ERG icons is based loosely around the idea of a flower. Flowers grow, bloom and bring beauty to the world regardless of where they are planted. The people in each ERG do exactly the same thing each and every day and, hopefully each ERG will be there to help provide fertile soil for them to come together as they empower, support and help each other to bloom and reach their full, glorious potential.
